A co-educational school, JBS will be a truly international school, locally focused but globally connected. English will be the main medium of instruction but its uniqueness will come from its mission to teach French and Arabic creatively from Kindergarten to High School. The school will create a culture rich environment where multi-lingualism is a natural outcome of a holistic educational experience.

·     Kindergarten 1 to 2 will be driven by the English Early Learning Goals, while the Literacy and Numeracy strategies will shape the school's approach to the teaching of English and Mathematics. Inquiry, creativity and the educational value of play will be central to the early primary school's programme. The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) will promote a thematic and internationally minded framework to organise the teaching of Science, Technology, ICT, Art and the Humanities throughout the primary school (KG1 to Gr5).

·     The Middle and High schools will open in September 2011. The Middle School (Gr6 to Gr10) will offer an enriched IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) leading to an MYP Certificate and allowing students to sit a number of IGCSE examinations at the end of Grade 10.

·     The High school (Gr11 and Gr12) will offer the IB Diploma Programme and Certificates.
