Andy Homden

Having graduated with a degree in Modern History from Oxford in the late 1970s, Andy has worked in British schools overseas since 1980. A Housemaster at Island School in Hong Kong, he was appointed Head of Humanities at Guildford Grammar School in Perth, Western Australia, before becoming Deputy Principal of the British International School in Jakarta, and subsequently Director of Schools at the Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur. He took his Masters in Education at the University of Western Australia in 1994 and joined Taaleem's Dubai British School from Bangkok Patana in Thailand, where he was Head of School. He has also worked in Istanbul, where he was the Director of Enka Schools. Andy is currently Principal of Dubai British School and oversees the development of Jumeira Baccalaureate School as Executive Superintendent.
