Valerie Labedan Valerie is a French national who has a passion and dedication for teaching French, her own native language. Valerie is a postgraduate of the University of Paul Valery located in Montpellier, in the South of France, where she earned a Masters degree with honors in English Literature and English and French translation. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts, languages and Literature, in English and French studies, French Literature and French linguistics from the same university in France. After the completion of her Master degree, Valerie travelled to Oregon, USA, where she taught French for two years as a French teaching assistant. She then went back to France where she taught French for three years in Lycee Joffres, in Montpellier. Valerie then moved to Dubai, where she has been teaching French for six years. She has worked as a subject leader for the French department in her two previous schools and her responsibilities included curriculum development and implementation, evaluating and monitoring the quality of teaching within the French department. As a French teacher, she believes she is experienced with creating engaging and inspiring French lessons addressing every student's learning ability. It is her firm belief that during French classes, only French, the target language should be used to help students develop their language skills in a more natural way. Valerie is a dedicated teacher and she is highly committed to the academic and social development of her students. She is also very keen to integrate technology into the curriculum and most of her classes are ICT based.
