Georgina Williams

Georgina has been Key Stage One Leader at Dubai British School since the school's opening in September 2005. Having graduated with a BA Honours degree in Education and Media Studies from Trinity Carmarthen, she commenced her teaching career at Hook Junior School, in Hampshire. She taught successfully for eight years across Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two, before becoming interested in international schooling within the Gulf region. Her enthusiasm for teaching then led her to New Zealand, where in an innovative school; she explored using the Reading Recovery Programme and focused on using 'creativity' across all areas of the curriculum. This fantastic learning experience enriched her classroom practice and further reinforced her passion for teaching and inspiring young minds. Georgina is very much looking forward to another future success at Jumeira Baccalaureate School.
