Discount
*Note: In the first year of opening (2010/11) an AED 5,000 discount will be refundable
to those who pay full Semester 1 fees before 31 August 2010. The refund will be given
over two semesters in proportion to the annual tuition fees.
Other Charges
Application Fee: AED 1,000 (non-refundable)**
**Note: In the first year of opening (2010/11) a credit note for application fees will be
issued up to a maximum of AED 1,000 upon presentation of an original receipt from a school.
Re-Registration Fee: For new and returning students a non-refundable registration fee
will be charged. The school will advise of the amount and due date. This fee will be adjusted
against Semester 1 fees.
Bus Transport: Will be available and charged in accordance with distance travelled.
Examinations: JBS will charge additional fees for external examinations in line with
other private and international schools.
ECAs: Extra-curricular Activities charges are not included in the Fee Structure
and are charged on an individual basis.
Note
Tuition fees are payable in advance for each semester. Once fees are paid refunds are made within the policy of the school (please see below). In order to register your child, you are required to pay the first semester fee as per the invoice. Students may not start school unless the appropriate semester fee has been paid in full. According to Ministry of Education regulations, the school reserves the right to withhold the final results and abstain from issuing transfer certificates and documentation until settlement of all outstanding fees have been paid. Re-registration for continuing students will only be confirmed once all fees for the completed year are settled and appropriate deposits have been made for the new school year.
TUITION REFUND POLICY
1.1 Student withdrawal prior to the start of the academic year
If the student has NOT attended ANY classes, the balance of the first semester fee paid is refunded minus any registration fee made for placing the student on the school's official class list. This refund is subject to approval by the Principal and in compliance with the Ministry of Education rules.
1.2 Student withdrawal during the school semester
Fees will be charged for one full month if a student attends school for two weeks or less.
Fees will be charged for two full months if a student attends school for more than two weeks and less than one month.
Fees will be charged for the entire school semester if a student attends school for more than one month.
