Tuition Fees 2017/18

We will not be implementing a tuition fee increase for the next academic year 2017/18. Our tuition fees will therefore remain at the same level of 2016/17.

From next year (2017/18) tuition fees may be paid in three instalments due: 10 August 2017, 7 December 2017 and 8 March 2018.

We will be introducing a sibling discount of 10% on tuition fees for the third (youngest) and subsequent child in each family for the 2017/18 Academic Year attending any Taaleem school in Dubai.

Other Fees

a) Application Fee: the one-time non-refundable non-transferable Application Fee of AED1,000 is required to process your child’s application.

b) For students transferring within Dubai schools, there is a KHDA administration fee of AED 120 for each student. This fee is collected on behalf of the KHDA by the receiving school. Where a student is transferring from one Taaleem school to another Taaleem school, this fee will be waived.

c) First semester fees are due on or before 10 August 2017. The second and third fees instalments are due paid by post-dated check, cash or by credit card on or before 7 December 2017 and 8 March 2018.

d) Once a seat is offered, a non-refundable tuition deposit/registration fee is required to reserve the seat until full tuition payment is made before 31st July. This fee is deductible against first semester tuition fees. The school will advise of the amount.

e) Uniforms: Uniforms are not included in the fee structure. Uniforms are available for purchase at Zaks in the Jumeira Beach Centre on Jumeira Beach Road, +971 (0)4 342 9828,

f) SEN/EAL: Parents opting to take advantage of SEN/EAL services will be charged a fee for these.

g) Extra-curricular Activities (ECAs) and Educational Visits: ECAs by external suppliers and some optional educational visits will occur separate fees.

Payment Options
Payments can be made by cash, credit card, bank transfer or cheque.

A manager's cheque is preferred. In case payment is made by a personal cheque, then the school requires payment at least 3 (three) working days prior to the due date of the invoice. All cheques must be made payable to "Jumeira Baccalaureate School". A charge of AED500 will be made for any returned or dishonoured cheque. Post dated cheques are to be lodged for Semester 2 at any time in advance of the due date.

Tuition Refund Policy
Notice of student withdrawal and application for a tuition refund at the request of the parent/guardian must be made in writing to the School Principal. Ministry of Education regulations govern the school tuition refund policies outlined below:

I. Student withdrawal prior to the start of the academic year
If the student has NOT attended ANY classes, the balance of the first semester fee paid is refunded minus any registration fee made for placing the student on the school's official class list. This refund is subject to approval by the Principal and in compliance with the Ministry of Education rules.

II. Student withdrawal during the school term
Fees will be charged for 1 full month if a student attends school for 2 weeks or less.
Fees will be charged for 2 full months if a student attends school for more than 2 weeks and less than 1 month.
Fees will be charged for the 3 full months if a student attends school for more than 1 month.
